The work itself

What we fix

Named jobs on named platforms, because a list of categories tells you nothing about whether a shop has done yours before.

Diagnosis

Generic codes and the faults another shop has already given up on. We stayed on a MAF code that nobody else could pin down until it was found and fixed.

Engine

Oil coolers, turbos, head gaskets and internal work across Powerstroke, Cummins and Duramax.

DEF, DPF and EGR

Emissions faults, regen problems and the derates that come with them. Diagnosed and repaired properly, with the options in front of you first.

Transmission

Allison and other heavy automatics. Leaks, service and repair on trucks that tow for a living.

Exhaust and performance

Custom exhaust, intakes and top of the line parts fitted without cutting corners. People drive up from the Valley for this rather than have it done down there.

Regular service

Scheduled work on diesel and gas, including fitting parts you have supplied yourself.

In the owners' words

Jobs like yours, in their owners' words

“My truck kept throwing a generic MAF code. They went way above and beyond to diagnose and fix the issue when no one else could. Fair price. Very friendly. Highly recommend.”

“Working with Scott was a pleasure. He and his team diagnosed my DEF issue and proposed a couple of solutions to fix my limp mode problem. Quality parts and quality work!”

Joe M. · Google review

“I drove all the way from North Peoria to Show Low to have work done on my 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel, and it was well worth the trip. The Monster Ram intake and custom exhaust install turned out great, no corners were cut, and only top of the line parts and workmanship were used. My truck runs better than ever.”

Brett V. · Google review

“Got me right in for service and fixed a transmission leak on my Duramax Allison Transmission. Great customer service and I learned about all the services they offer, and I am scheduling some body work with them.”

Before you hand over the keys

Four things we commit to in writing

No work without a yes

You get the number before anything is ordered or started. If we open it up and find more, you hear about it before we touch it.

Diagnosis, not guesswork

We find the actual fault before anyone talks about parts. Replacing parts until it stops is how a bill triples.

An honest timeframe

A real answer, not an optimistic one. If parts or the job move the date, you hear it from us, not at pickup.

We say when to walk away

If a repair is not worth what the vehicle is worth, we will tell you that instead of taking the money.

Questions

What drivers ask

If the truck is undrivable, call. The form is fine for booking and second opinions.

(928) 537-3207
What does limp mode or a derate actually mean?

The engine has protected itself by cutting power, usually because of an emissions or sensor fault. It is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The fix depends entirely on what triggered it, which is why we read it properly before anyone talks about parts.

Another shop quoted me thousands. Is a second opinion worth it?

Almost always. We have had people turn up with dealer quotes for thousands in parts that were not needed at all. Read us the quote over the phone and you will get a straight answer, including when the quote turns out to be a fair one.

Do you work on Powerstroke, Cummins and Duramax?

All three, every week, plus Allison transmissions. If your platform is outside what we do we will tell you rather than learn on your truck.

My check engine light is on but it drives fine. Does it matter?

Sometimes it is minor and sometimes it is the first warning before an expensive failure. A code read costs a lot less than finding out the hard way.

Can you fit parts I have already bought?

Yes. We have fitted customer supplied parts and told the owner exactly what was done. Tell us what you have when you call.

Do you do performance work as well as repair?

Yes. Custom exhaust, intakes and quality parts fitted properly. One customer drove up from North Peoria for a 6.7 Cummins build rather than have it done in the Valley.
