Weren't you called Power House Diesel?
Yes. Same shop, same building on White Mountain Road, same crew and the same phone number. Most of our reviews were left under the old name, and they are all still there on the listing.
Are you open on Saturday?
No. We are open Monday to Thursday 8 to 5 and Friday 8 to 4, and closed Saturday and Sunday. If you send the form over the weekend we call you back first thing Monday.
Do you work on motorhomes and RVs?
Yes, including diesel pushers and coaches. Oil coolers, DPF and exhaust work, and the diagnostics behind a warning light. If you are mid trip, say so when you call and we will do what we can to keep your plans intact.
I'm just passing through and I'm stuck. Can you help?
Tell us on the phone. Show Low sits on the routes through the mountains and we get these calls constantly, so being away from home moves you up the list wherever we can manage it. If we cannot get you out in time, we will say so rather than let you sit here hoping.
Another shop quoted me a huge number. Is it worth a second opinion?
Almost always. We have had people turn up with dealer quotes for thousands in parts that were not needed at all. Read us the quote over the phone and you will get a straight answer, including when the quote turns out to be a fair one.
Which engines do you work on?
Powerstroke, Cummins and Duramax are the everyday ones, plus Allison transmissions and heavier diesel platforms. General and gas work too.
Can you sort a DEF fault or a derate?
Yes. Emissions faults and limp mode come through here constantly. We find the actual cause and lay out the options for a proper repair before anything gets ordered.
What is this going to cost me?
We cannot price a fault we have not seen, and any shop that quotes you a repair over the phone without looking is guessing. What we can promise is the order it happens in: we diagnose it, we tell you the number, and nothing gets ordered or started until you have said yes to it. If we open it up and find more, you hear about it before we touch it.
How long will you have my vehicle?
It depends on the fault and on parts. You will get a real answer rather than an optimistic one, and if that changes while your vehicle is here, you hear it from us rather than find out at pickup.
Do you do body work?
Ask when you book. Plenty of people have it done alongside a service.
Do you sell vehicles?
Call the shop and ask. This site covers the repair side.
